Baaack
So I had my hospital stay. Lets start at the start of all of this! Sometime last week, I went to the doctor with some minor chest pain and a slight cough. The chest pain would vary from no hurt to lots of hurt, depending on how I moved.. and it felt loose inside. I could hear things jiggling in there. The doc took some Xrays, told me I was really healthy, and we went home. Onisyra had pinkeye, so we got some drops for her on the way home. A couple days later, on wednesday, I got a call from the doctor. He told me the xray specialist had looked at my xray, since I called him back and told him my lungs still hurt, and found something called a pneumothorax. https://health.google.com/health/ref/Pneumothorax <-- link for those wanting to read. Basically, it is a small area of the lung that has popped, and let air be released into the chest cavity. The air then pushes against the lung, causing it to collapse. For a small one, 10-15% of the lung, it can usually be ignored, and the body will heal on its own. Mine was 30-35% though. =x He suggested I call the ER and mentioned how he was surprised I wasnt having shortness of breath! I let my dad know what was going on, and that I'd be going to the ER thursday morning. HE said.. 'Nope, get to my house, we're going now!' I called Oni at that point to let her know what was going on, since she was at work. At the ER, I got admitted, they took an xray there, and came back ten minutes later saying I had a large portion of my lung collapsed. They put a tube into my chest pretty instantly. I got an IV which they put morphine into, and then a bunch of little morphine shots around the area that they would cut open for the tube. That hurt kinda.. the tube is LONG too. The morphine didnt really work in the IV at all, so they gave me something called deludin, or such. That one worked REALLY well, but also made me sick feeling. =( After the tube got into my chest, I went up to my private hospital room. I learned to work the tv, how to call for room service, and how to use my pee bucket and all that. I had a button to call an on duty nurse at any time to get more meds too. I wanted some food, since I hadnt eaten yet that day, and it was like 11PM, so I asked for some and went to bed at midnight. I woke up at 2AM, in pain, and threw up in this little pan they gave me. I threw up MORE then the pan would hold, so I also threw up all over myself and my bed =( I had to really slowly roll out of ebd while they cleaned things up for me, then roll back into bed after.. It hurt =( Lots! I didnt get much sleep at all, ever. I'd sleep for an hour at most, then be awake again. The pain was so constant and everywhere in my side. I was REALLY aware of this tube. This basically went on for.. until this morning. I had a full day of laying there doing nothing. I did have visits! My family, Oni, and even someone I work with sometimes! All good talks, even if I did start to doze off when I got my pain meds. I threw up again last night too, lots. I couldnt keep ANY food down until today, after lunch. Since then, I've eaten enough to not be hungry anymore. Anytime I laughed or moved, it caused SEARING pain around the tube when my muscles spasmed. At one point, I was crying tears without making noise because it was so bad, but I didnt let it make me actually cry. =D Oh, Oni's parents sent me flowers, my grandma got me flowers, my mom got me cookies, and I got a card and balloons too! Good visits =D This morning, I got my tube taken out. THAT was worse then everything else. I got told to breathe in and out a few times, then she pulled it all out at once. x-x Oh god. I gasped and clenched the bed and yelled out. After aqueezing my eyes shut for a but, and them patching up the hole in my side, I looked over the the tube. Thing was like a foot and a half long and covered in this half see through, red, gunky blood stuff. It looked like my chest had a bad period that was watered down and oozing in places all over the tube. I can't describe how bad that hurt though. I'm home now though. I've got a patch on my arm where the IV was, a small hole where they took blood on the other arm, and a huuuge patch on my side where the hole into my chest is. I take that off in a few days, and then a few days after that, I see the doctor to get my last suture removed. A week or so after that, I go back in to get tested and make sure my lungs are doing ok still. Deer hunt!
So! This past weekend was a deer hunt, and I figure it was a big enough event.. I should post about it! Also, I'm up late waiting to go to work. Poop work. So, we head up there Friday morning. Oni and I stayed up all night the night before.. nerves, excitement, and we had taken the day off anyway, so why not! We meet my dad at the office, get hunting stuff together, and drive up. We're sleepy, but we make it, stopping off to get coffee and food on the way. When we get up there, we get put into a NICE cabin.. we take a walk around, get everything together and get dressed and get put into hunting spots! I had a nice blind in a field, Oni got a tree stand near another field. I was REALLY tired.. so I went in early and didnt see anything the first night. My dad and Onisyra both saw deer though! So that night, I sleep REALLY well. I get up early the next day and go out again. Before the sun rises even! About an hour after the sun comes up a freaking SIX POINT buck walks about 50 feet in front of me. Hoshit if I was allowed, I would get him. Thats a TROPHY right there. But sadly, on this property, you arent allowed to shoot under 8 points. Owner's rules! So I got to watch a magnificent buck walk away. It was amazing to even SEE him though.. most hunters in michigan arent lucky enough to ever see a six point even. I was REALLY happy with him. I went back in after a while, and made a fire in front of the cabin.. cause hey, its camping! Oni and I snuggled, I made some marshmellows, ahd some coffee.. all good times. =} at about 3:30, we went back out. At about 4PM, I saw a HERD of about 9 doe run across the field at 100 yards. Too fast too shoot! Around 5:00, I saw two doe come from the right. I took FOREVER to turn to face them. I took the larger one in my sight, forced myself to calm down instead of just shooting.. and aimed at her chest, right behind the front leg. I shot! I saw her fall, get up, and bounce off into the forest, but I KNEW I had a good shot. I called the owner of the land, let him know I had one(through voicemail.. he was sitting with Oni =P ) When he showed up, it was dark. I had marked where the doe fell, she left some blood. We tracked her into the woods at night! She left a blood trail on BOTH SIDES of her.. my bullet had gone clean through her. After 30 minutes of tracking, and what felt like a mile, we found her laying down. =} I had a good shot, clean through her lungs. She really only ran about 80 feet.. it just felt longer in the dark in the woods =P We cleaned her right there.. she was BIG. It was kind of fun, and kind of gross, and all the way an experience. The weirdest part was grabbing her windpipe from INSIDE to pull out all the organs. =x We left them in a pile and hauled her back to the house to skin her. Skinning isnt so bad or hard, just takes some muscle =D I learned how to skin and butcher before. I went out the next morning with Oni.. we didnt see any. =( It was cold. GAMING HRRRF
Borderlands.. no one has it, anywhere. I dont know why, either. We went to a few places, they both told us that it hasnt come out for PC. I dont know how credible the Meijer lady can be though, since she told us at first that they have NO PC games.. and was staring at PS3 stuff when I asked about 'PC'. =/ I'll go look for it again in a day or so. DAMAGED!
My back! it is broke! =( Well, not snapped, broke. But still, I have a pinched nerve in there. IT's been there for about two days now.. and it SUCKS. I took a bunch of advil last night and was able to sleep fine.. but its getting worse as I'm up today again. It hurts to breatheee! I've gotten advice from people on how to make it hurt less.. but they also say it just gets worse and worse, usually =( I'm going to see a Chiropractor on Friday to get it knocked out, I believe.. if I can still walk by then! *yowls* In other good news! Our couch is getting here on Friday! Hooray! It will be so nice! =} This means we have to clean the house though.. So the powertrain in my car is pretty much fubar. D= I took it in this morning, hopefully it is still under warrenty. They'll call me back today or tomorrow morning to let me know if it is or not. Weekend!
Ok, so.. we did things this weekend. Had a kind of eventful time! First off, Friday. We worked =( Worked lots, got home late, played games.. the usual! But SAturday was fun! We got up (or napped late, actually, for me), and headed to art van. We had a certain couch already in mind, since we had been there before, and made a beeline for it. After we got there, a saleslady instantly found us, and we told her we wanted that couch, and make it red! She did, and we got it on order. 5-7 weeks to get here, delivered.. and then we only gott pay like 60$ a month. xD Some odd two years t pay this thing off without any interest. What a deal! I hope it fits nice in the room. A red microfiber sectional thingy. It has one part that is longer then the other cusions, so you can lay out on it! I'm really excited about this. We also got our surround sound theater in! =DDD God it took some work setting that thing up, and then after setting it up, some fiddling with settings to make it actually work with the Xbox at the same time as the actual system itself. O.O But it sounds sooooooo freaking amazing. We played Gears of War 2 on it, of course! *laughs* It has wonderful sound. Sunday we got up and went to the state fair! There was one amazing thing there that we have to point out.. a baby lion! I held it with Onisyra and we got our picture taken.. hopefully we can put it online later. It was so cool feeling! kind of thick and wiry, not soft like I thought she would be. Sellix and Kitoxa! =D
They both stopped by last night! It was really fun. Let's see... First things first, they got LOST or something on the way here cause it took forever to get them here. When they did get here, we invited them inside! For me, it was handshakes.. Oni got a kiss or two from Sellix though. I was left out of that! They both seemed really fun and energetic right from the get go. =} So we all went inside and met the cats. Then we looked around the place! I got to show them my house some. It really kinda amounted to 'So here is this room and this room and this room!' We quickly finished that up and were on our way to the Cherry Blossom for some food. We got there and Sellix went on and on about how much he liked meat. Yeah.. everyone knows how much you like 'meat', Sellix. <.< ANYWAY, Kito got sushi and couldn't finish it all. =D So she got to take it home. Oni got Tonkatsu, which is a crispy pork dish, and she couldnt finish hers! Sellix got Teriyaki beef, and I got Nabeyaki Udon. We finished OURS though. The girls were wimps! *Snickers* While we were there, we talked the whole time about ranomd things and such. They are fun to talk to! Afterwards, they followed me back to my house, since it was on their way to Canada anyway. When we got there, they were both soooo thankful for the wonderful food that we instantly had an orgy. We orgied for hours with all four of us.. er.. no, none of that happened. Really, we just hung out for an hour and a half =D It was really nice to have people over that we could relax with. I got to show them guns! And a sword! So that was really fun! Oh, even Oni's bow was shown off. Kito got to feel my ROCK HARD MUSCLES as I showed off how to use said bow. Sellix is really fun to be around, and generally like he is online. xD Kito was much less shy then I thought she would be, honestly! I got to tickle her to death right on the couch. I was a lucky man, having Kito wedged against one side of me, and Onisyra wedged on the other side. Although both of them DID attack me back with tickling. >{ Sellix stood there and watched, the bastard! When they went to leave, Sellix and I got a hug from eachother with a handshake, and so did Kito. I let them know to come back and they agreed to! Loots!
I got a weight bench! It was so cool to get that. =D I also got some free weights, which are nice, and some matting for my basement floor, which is where I will put the weight systems! I got a pair of pants, some gloves to wear while lifting, a 'worry stone', which is a thing you rub when you are stressed, a calender, and fourty dollars! =D A cake and ice cream was also had, along with a really fun day just being with Oni and my family!
